Week 13 — Shining Light in the Marketplace
Scripture: Matthew 5:14 (NLV). You are the light of the world. You cannot hide a city that is on a mountain.
Reflection: Pray for creatives to be influential in shifting the culture in secular spaces by demonstrating the love of Christ through their giftings. Ask God to give them kindness and a spirit of hospitality as they shine the light of Christ. As they go about their day, may people be draw to Christ who lives within them.

Scripture: Proverbs 16:3 (ERV). Turn to the Lord for help in everything you do, and you will be successful.
Reflection: May God’s vision be established in every part of this conference. As the event takes shape, we pray everything will be surrendered at His feet. From the larger impact items to the smallest detail, may all prep and planning be under His watchful care and accomplish His purposes.

Scripture: James 1:5 (TLB). If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask Him, and He will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask Him.
Reflection: Conference leaders have many responsibilities, so we pray for clear minds and steady hearts. We also ask God to unify these leaders as they seek His heart when making individual and collective decisions.scription -
Scripture: Exodus 4:12 (NIV). Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.
Reflection: Pray that every speaker’s heart would be open to receiving a word from the Lord and that they clearly share a message that is born of truth, speaks life, is inspiring and encouraging. -
Scripture: John 12:32 (NLT). And when I am lifted up from the Earth, I will draw everyone to Myself.
Reflection: We pray that when people speak and hear about this conference that the Lord will be the focal point. Ask God to kindle and re-ignite flames in the hearts of many. May the Lord draw exactly who He desires to be there so each artist is enriched and each participant is a blessing to others.

Scripture: Romans 15:7 (ESV). Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
Reflection: We pray that whether a person is just finding his or his way into the world of Worship & Arts or is a consummate professional, that they will find their place and know they belong at the conference. May that sense of calling be evident at the conference and remain long after they leave, so that God will be praised and man will be blessed.

Scripture: Psalm 103:5 (NLT). He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
Reflection: Some creatives may come to the conference feeling weary. Pray they will experience emotional, physical and spiritual refreshing and will arise with renewed strength. -
Scripture: Romans 11:33 (CEV). Who can measure the wealth and wisdom and knowledge of God? Who can understand His decisions or explain what He does?
Reflection: Petition the Lord to move freely and that artists will recognize and seize those holy, spontaneous moments so the Holy Spirit will have room to minister in a fresh, meaningful and personal way. -
Scripture: Exodus 35:35 (EHV). He has filled them with skill to work in all kinds of crafts . . . all kinds of workmanship and designing.
Reflection: Pray that artists would see their skill as an offering to God and a witness to the world. May they recognize their giftings not only as a career or hobby but as a creative form of worship. -
Scripture: Hebrews 10:24-25 (NLT). Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.
Reflection: Pray for God to build genuine friendships and meaningful connections across age, race, gender and art form. Pray that separation would be replaced with unity. -
Scripture: Ephesians 4:1-3 (NIV); . . . I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
Reflection: Ask God to make this gathering a testimony of unity across denominations, backgrounds and traditions. Ask Him to weave together a spirit of humility and love that is greater than our perceived differences. Ask the Lord to remove misunderstanding and foster collaboration and shared purpose.

Scripture: Ephesians 5:14 (NKJV). Therefore He says: Awake, you who sleep; Arise from the dead; And Christ will give you light.
Reflection: Pray for a spiritual awakening across New England with artists as a catalyst. Ask God to breathe new life into dry places that artists and others are facing and bring God’s people into revival.

Scripture: Ephesians 3:16 (NIV); . . . that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.
Reflection: As artists return home, pray they will carry vision, inspiration and spiritual vitality back to their home churches. Because of artists’ experience at the conference, may the spirits, hearts and minds of pastors, ministry leaders and congregants also be influenced. We pray this outpouring will draw many to church or back to church.
